There were two important stock crashes that affected Wall Street:

This is also known as the Great Crash as well as the Stock Crash of 1929. This was the most devastating stock market crash in the history of the United States of America.
The crash was followed by the 10-year Depression, the Great Depression, which ended in the US until 1947.
- Black Monday
Black Monday refers to October 19 1987 when stock markets crashed all around the world.
